Résumé

La journée du 13 avril avait commencé comme une matinée ordinaire au pensionnat de Takashi. Mais, alors qu'il sèche les cours et s'apprête à faire une petite sieste sur le toit de l'établissement, il aperçoit devant le portail un professeur se faire dévorer par ce qui semble bien être un mort-vivant... Tout bascule alors dans l'horreur et le gore.

Les films de Romero vous ont terrorisé ? Les séries des Resident Evil et Dead Rising trônent en bonne place dans votre ludothèque ? Shaun of the Dead vous a fait mourir de rire ? Alors, vous allez adorer Highschool of the Dead !

Eyeshield 21 /summary

The story is set in present day Japan, the introduction starts by introducing a boy named Sena Kobayakawa. He is a rather shy and non-assertive boy who enters the Deimon Private Senior High School, with his childhood friend Mamori Anezaki who attended the year before. He may be small and weak but he does have one remarkable skill, he has intense agility. In his childhood Sena was bullied alot by kids and was sent on many errands, or he receives a beating. Day after day he ran, and ran, knowing if he fails he must suffer the consequences. When Sena enters Highschool he very quickly winds up in trouble with some bullies. However Sena decides to run for it instead, and does so successfully. However the eye of the high school's American football team captain Yoichi Hiruma has spot Sena as a potential running back for the Deimon Devil Bats. Hiruma is in all characteristics is a devil and forces Sena to join the Deimon Devil Bats through deception and blackmail.

But Mamori who is very protective of Sena disapproves of this becuase American Football is a harsh contact sport. But eventually they both join and Mamori is manager. After a lot of misunderstandings and troubles Sena is now apart of the Deimon Devil Bats. Hiruma forces Sena into becoming the Running back becuase of his huge potential, but Sena is just too scared to refuse. To protect his identity Hiruma gives Sena an eyeshield so that no one will find out who he is, including Mamori. Did I mention the Deimon Devil Bats only had 3 members? Sena as running back, Hiruma as quarter back and Ryokan Kurita as center. What makes things worse is they have their first official match of the season, against the Oujou White Knights one of the greatest teams in Japan. Since the Deimon Devil Bats only have 3 players, so Hiruma blackmails other students from other sports clubs to fill in the places. It is the day of the match and the Deimon Devil Bats is getting completely thrashed by the Oujou White Knights superiority.

However in the dieing momements Sena steps up wearing the eyeshield with his position number "21" on his back. Sena gets the ball and runs 40 yards in 4.2 seconds and scores one touchdown. The Deimon Devil Bats lose by about 6 times the amount of points the Oujou White Knights scored. The team loses but they have a unknown hero who opposed the Oujou White Knights, the media has dubbed him "Eyeshield 21". Over the course of the manga, the Deimon Devil Bats gets more characters and starts filling the places. When they finnaly have a full team, only then can they achieve their ultimate dream to win the "Christmas Bowl" the Japanese American Football High School National Tornument. Prepare for the ultimate American Football action!

Characters (9/10)

Sena Kobayakawa: The protaganist whos identity is "Eyeshield 21" and the position of running back in the Deimon Devil Bats. He starts out as a cowardly, timid boy who does not know the first thing about American Football. However over time he makes more friends and improves his core skill his agility. Constantly training Sena gets faster and faster and amazes not just his team mates but everybody watching. He soon becomes a beacon of hope whenever the going gets tough and always manages to score a touchdown in the end. Towards near at the end of the manga Sena pretty much is one of the fastest highschool american football running backs in all of japan. Heck he runs the 40 yard dash in 4.2 seconds casually, that is peak human agility.

Yoichi Hiruma: The devil himself in the form of a highschool student and captain of the Devil Bats as quarter back position. He is easily the most evil character in the manga, he constantly blackmailes, cons, lies, tricks, deceives both his enemys ans friends. He also carrys an assortment of fire arms ranging from revolvers to automatic machine guns which he casually walks around with them in school and fires them at his team mates. Even though he is very demonic he is one of the founding members and a superb quarterback. While on the playing field Hiruma is a force to be reckoned with. His mere presence puts players off, he is a genius and runs hundreds of plays through his mind.

Ryokan Kurita: He is the big friendly giant. He has a very large round body that has made him perfect as a center lineman. He is also one of the founding members of the Devil bats and his personality is the opposite of Hiruma's. Kurita is very warm hearted and very emotional and always puts peoples feelings and thoughts forward first. He has a big heart that friend and foe can relate to. However on the playing field Kurita is one of the strongest highschool players in japan! his sheer size and power ploughs through the opposing players defence line easily. He charges like a tank smashing his way through players, his power simply cannot be matched.

Art/Theme (8/10)

The art style really is nothing special. Its good and its certainly not bad. The manga is well shaded and drawn very clearly to show the reader every movement in the football games. This also has to be one of the best examples of draw running shown in manga. When sena runs the perspective is immense you can see him running with intense speed and agility. When sena starts adding wind effects becuase hes just running that fast, the detail is amazing its like sena is a tornado. I guess thats a key point of the manga, it shows great perspective in all the characters movement it is fluid and flashy.

It is also a good time to mention that the action in Eyshield 21 is very thrilling. Becuase it is a sports manga you do not know when a team is going to win or lose it is different from other shonen manga. What I mean is in most other shonen manga, defeat means death. The Deimon Devil Backs show great character development with all the team mates, you see how they improve chapter by chapter. They improve and improve and get better and better, they soon become a team of the best players. Sena is the best at speed, thats why he is a running back. Hiruma is the best at technique thats why he is quarter back. And finnaly kurita is the best at power and thats why he is center. Together all 3 are a force to be reckoned with.

Overall/Closing (8/10)

Recently I personally find this one of the better weekly shoen jump manga's. I am much more excited to be reading this than bleach and naruto every week. The plotline is like all other sports plot line to be the best. Howevever as long as the manga acomplishes this at an incredible level it is okey. Where this manga truly shines is the character development. You see their pain and anguish when they are training, you see their determination. When their losing in a football game they can always think up of the most amazing way to turn round the game. I never really liked american football before I read Eyeshield 21. However I can understand why americans do love it, its a sports game that relys on each and everbodys individual skill. The Demon Devil Bats have been sculpted to be an example of a great team for you to enjoy.

petit résumé sur Yoichi Hiruma

Yoichi Hiruma

He is the mastermind of the Deimon Devil Bats team. A cruel but hilarious genius with pointy ears and sharp teeth who looks and acts like a devil. Always carrying some kind of firearm, (including, but not limited to: flamethrowers, submachine guns, bazookas) Hiruma is the first person to recognize Sena's talent for running.
He lies, cheats, bullies and manipulates people to do his bidding. His most deadly weapon is probably his Blackmail Journal, a small black notebook filled with dark secrets about everyone that allows him to force just about anyone into doing what he demands of them. The only person who isn't too scared to confront him directly is Mamori.
Although portrayed as a cruel slave-driver, his passion for football (and winning) is unrivaled, and knows how to goad, tempt, bribe, force and inspire the team to victory. Although he always seem to be demonically energetic, he has a vulnerable side as well, which only Mamori and the team's coach is able to recognize .

Traduction pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas l'anglais :

Il est le cerveau de l'équipe de Deimon Devil Bats. Un génie cruel, mais hilarant avec des oreilles pointues et des dents pointues qui ressemble et se comporte comme un diable. Partout et toujours, une sorte d'arme à feu (y compris, mais limites: lance-flammes, mitraillettes, bazookas) Hiruma est la première personne à reconnaître le talent Sena pour courir.
Il ment, triche, tyrans et manipule les gens à sa guise . Son arme la plus mortelle est probablement son chantage-Journal, un petit carnet noir rempli de sombres secrets sur tout le monde qui lui permet de forcer n'importe qui a faire ce qu'il exige de lui. La seule personne qui n'est pas trop peur de le confronter directement c'est Mamori .
Bien que mamori est présentée comme une esclave du cruel du conducteur, sa passion pour le football (gagner) il est incomparable, et sait à pousser, tenter, soudoyer, de force et animent l'équipe à la victoire. Bien qu'il ait toujours l'air d'être diaboliquement énergique, il a un côté plus vulnérables et seul Mamori et entraîneur de l'équipe sont en mesure de le comprendre .

lol jolie image !! bon au début j'avais pas bien compris ce que sa voulais dire mais aprés avoir suivi chaque étape j'ai dédui que :

-bon mamori ecrit sur un mur " Hiruma + Mamori " et puis elle s'enva tt contente
-aprés hiruma arrive et trouve sa STOP finalment mamori était tjr la et puis hiruma la trouve et il se met zaama en colére et la poursuit puis elle elle fuit
- monta arrive et trouve " Hiruma + Mamori " il est en colére puis remplace Hiruma par MONTA 
-hiruma le trouve Et le-rafale monta s'enfuit 
-hiruma rafale le mur Niak niak... et fais un signe 01+FM lol
-le gros arrive et ce dit " sa veut dire quoi 1+FM ? "

lol moi j'ai trouvé avant de voir la réponse xD le 01 veut dire hiruma ( c'est le num de hiruma dans les devils-bats) et FM veut dire fucking manager ( c'est mamori la manager de hiruma lol) 

c'est une assé belle histoire et puis il faut utilisé sa téte pour b1 comprendre
